March 19, 2007 LAGOS-NIGERIA-- Netcom Africa, leading Internet Communication Infrastructure provider was honored with the ISP of the year Award at the 10th annual City People Awards for Excellence organised by the City People Media group and held in Lagos recently. Direct on PC, LinkServe and Swift Network were other ISPs nominated in the same category.
The City People awards for excellence ceremony is one of the most recognized award ceremonies in Nigeria, and has been held for the past 10 years to reward and celebrate worthy Nigerian companies and individuals who excelled in their areas of endeavor yearly. The winners for the past 10 years have included presidents, governors, ministers and multinationals from all walks of life and industries in Nigeria.
