Location: Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria
General Function:Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role will be responsible for maintaining integrity and operational suitability of all Linux and windows servers.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop applications and system tools
• Back-up/restore/develop all system applications and databases
• Troubleshoot all application-related issues

Qualifications & Hiring Criteria

• Bachelors degree in Electronics/Communications/Network/Computer Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience as network administrator or systems engineer in an ISP environment
• Expert knowledge of Unix/Linux and other operating systems
• Thorough understanding of Internet protocols.
• Advanced knowledge in network architectures and networking hardware configurations
• Advanced knowledge in security and Linux firewall implementations
• Advanced knowledge in software configurations, preferably with the following: Apache, PHP/ASP, Perl
• Expert knowledge in database design and administration (MS SQL, MYSQL, Oracle, etc)
• Demonstrated experience in back-up and restoration
• Knowledge in OSS (RADIUS, Billing systems, etc)
